Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Emouna LLC ("Emouna", "we"). By using Confidence Coach you accept them.

1. What Confidence Coach is, and is not

Confidence Coach is a personal development app that uses AI to create daily challenges, exercises, and coaching audio. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical care, and it is not a substitute for professional treatment. The Confidence Score is a personal progress indicator, not a diagnosis or clinical measure. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Confidence Coach.

3. AI generated content

Coaching content, including the spoken voice, is generated by AI and personalized to what you share. It can be imperfect or wrong. Use your own judgment: never follow a suggestion that is unsafe, unlawful, or wrong for your situation. Challenges are always optional and can be swapped or skipped.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Premium is an auto renewing subscription: $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year (prices in USD; local prices are shown in the app), billed through your Apple ID.
• There is no free trial. Every new user receives one complete plan on their first day at no charge; it does not automatically start a subscription.
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings under your Apple ID subscriptions. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
• If your subscription ends, you keep read only access to your history, scores, and evidence.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the app to seek or generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or harmful to yourself or others. Safety systems may pause coaching when messages indicate risk. Do not probe, overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service.

6. Your content and license

You own what you write. You grant Emouna a limited license to process your content solely to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from inside the app.

7. Apple App Store terms

Because Confidence Coach is distributed through Apple's App Store, the following also applies:

• These terms are between you and Emouna LLC only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Your license to use the app is limited to a non transferable license on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms of Service, including its usage rules.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims.
• In case of a third party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights, Emouna, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emouna is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app before they take effect. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
